Skins is played by winning "skins" for each end, which are worth increasing amounts as the game progresses. To win a skin, the team with the hammer must score two or more points, or the opposing team must steal at least one point. If no team wins the end, the skin and its associated value carry over to the next end, and the hammer switches teams regardless of the outcome.
